To this day, whenever I play Monopoly with my children Jacob and Alana, I still choose the top hat token- I always wanted one of those old-fashioned top hats that Frosty the Snowman wore!
In my previous columns on the subject, I have endeavored to answer the question “What is my job?” as Logan County's economic developer. The recurring theme is that I wear many hats in my diverse roles as the team captain for growth and development in our community. In fact, as I review LEAD's third and final strategy for the overall direction of Logan County's economic development, the variety of hats that I wear will certainly suggest that I must be a “jack of all trades” to get the job done.
The final mission of LEAD's three-part economic development strategy is to market Logan strategically and competitively to targeted new business prospects that are both desirable and sustainable for the community's long-term growth and prosperity. I have some more thoughts about key aspects of this strategy that I will share with you in a sequel to this column.
