On the second night of the regional tournament opening round it saw the 13th district runner ups the Lady Panthers take on the district 16th winner Monroe County. Ultimately the momentum that the Lady Panthers had when they took down the Lady Rebels failed them as they lost to the Lady Falcons 2-0 (25-10, 25-11)

In the first game it was apparent that the Lady Panthers were in for a fight. Monroe jumped out to a 5-0 lead but the Lady Panthers closed the gap to 5-4, but that would be as close as they would get as the Lady Falcons just ran away from the Lady Panthers in the first game winning easily 25-10.

In the second game the fire was back as the Lady Panthers scrapped and fought to keep the game close early, only down 7-5. But the Monroe County Lady Falcons displayed a scrappy and gritty attitude that will help them against Greenwood Thursday. The Lady Panthers couldn't hold their intensity as the Lady Falcons cruised past them to a 25-11 victory and knocked the Lady Panthers out of the tournament.
