Heather Noelle Draper of Springfield, Tenn. and Sgt. Robert John Mueller of Ft. Riley, Ks., were united in marriage on Sept. 3, 2005 at Keysburg Baptist Church in Keysburg.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Shirley Draper of Adairville, both of which gave her away. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Ben Webster and Dickie Carter and was “open church” with invitations being sent to out-of-town guests only.

The bride wore a white satin and lace strapless gown with hand sewn pearls and rhinestones on it and a cathedral train. The veil was fingertip length and held by a rhinestone and pearl tiara. Both the gown and veil were made by Sandra Powell of Cross Plains, Tenn., friend of the bride. Heather wore matching pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings. She carried a silver tussie mussie with a spring bouquet of silk lavender, blue and pink larkspur, heather, roses and baby's breath. All of the bouquets and floral arrangements were made by the bride's mother, Shirley Draper.

The bridal attendants were: Holly Draper of Adairville, sister of the bride, maid-of-honor; Genese Coleman-Delay of Springfield, Tenn., matron-of-honor; Kimberly Draper of Auburn, sister of the bride, bridesmaid; Shannon Davisson of Independence, Ks., sister of the bride, bridesmaid; and Ashley Terry of Grand Island, Ne., niece of the groom, flower girl.

The bridal attendants wore lavender satin gowns with differing necklines. The maid-of-honor wore a sheer shoulder wrap. All carried silver tussie mussies of spring silk flowers of lavender and blue larkspur, heather and baby's breath.

The best man was Jared Delay, of Grand Island, Ne., best friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Christopher Mueller, of Grand Island, brother of groom; Oscar Martinez of Ft. Riley, Ks.; and William Myles, who was also an usher, of White House, Tenn., friend of the bride. The ringbearers were Gregory Draper of Adairville, brother of the bride, and Skylar Davisson of Independence, Kan., bride's nephew.

During the wedding Cindy Bond of Russellville sang “Bless the Broken Road” and other selections. Nora Allen of Adairville played the piano.

The reception immediately followed the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. The guest and bridal tables were covered with white table cloths decorated with white candles and flowers. Silver serving dishes and the punch bowl decorated the reception food tables with a lighted arch decorated with lavender wisteria that decorated the area over the cake table.

The cake was three-tiers of raspberry and orange filled white cakes on a white garden pedestal with lavender, blue and pink flowers. The groom's cake was chocolate. Both cakes were made by Kim Corrirossi of Rockford, Ill.

Kim and Alan Corrirossi of Rockford, Ill., Sandra Powell and Michelle Watts of Cross Plains, Tenn. and Cindy Draper of Stockstad, Cherry Valley, Ill., aunt of the bride, all served at the reception.

The guestbook attendants were Amanda and Sarah Brown, both of Russellville.

The bride is the granddaughter of Ozeal and Marvin Wilks of Belvidere, Ill., who were in attendance. She is also the granddaughter of the late Jean and Ben Vary of Rochester, N.Y. and the late William Draper of Belvidere, Ill. She graduated from Sonshine Christian Home Academy and then attended Austin Peay University. She worked as a supervisor at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Madison, Tenn.

The groom is the son of Lloyd and Marilyn Mueller of Grand Island, Ne. and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Mueller of Grand Island, Ne. He graduated from Grand Island High School in Grand Island, Ne. and is a sergeant in the U.S. Army and has been stationed at Ft. Riley, Ks.

After the ceremony, the couple took a wedding trip to Nashville, Tenn.

The couple now currently resides in Hohenfelz, Germany, where the groom is stationed with the U.S. Army.
