Diamond Caverns, in Park City, will celebrate its fifth year as a Kentucky Collection retailer at its annual event on Saturday, June 3. Visitors may enjoy Kentucky food samplings, listen to great Kentucky music, purchase crafts, visual art, food, books and music. “No Tools Loaned,” a blue grass group from Frankfort, will perform from 1-3p.m. CST. Visitors may also tour one of Kentucky’s most beautiful caves at a special price of $1.00, available from 9-5 p.m.

The Kentucky Collection, a project of the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, represents an assortment of the state's crafts, foods, visual arts, books and music available to retailers in a custom-designed display case with signage and marketing support. The goal of the Kentucky Collection program is to provide Kentucky retailers a convenient and effective way to sell the state’s products. The Kentucky Department of Agriculture is a partner on the project.

“Diamond Caverns, a national tourist destination, is a flagship Kentucky retailer who purchases work from Kentucky Businesses for Resale,” says Nancy Atcher, product development coordinator. Diamond Caverns’ was selected as one of the 11 original stores to participate in this unique state-sponsored program and one of the three private retailers who continues with the project.
