Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wilkins Jr. of Russellville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Wilkins, to Earl Yates, son of Fred and the late Laverne Yates of Auburn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edith and the late Arville Lawson of Russellville and Ernest and Joann Wilkins Sr. of Guthrie. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with an associate's degree in science and is presently employed by Northcrest Hospital in Springfield, Tenn.

The future groom is the grandson of Donald and Mildred Wilson of Russellville and Gladys and the late Emment Yates of Russellville. He is a graduate of Logan County High School and is presently employed by Carpenter Company.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m. on June 10, 2006 at Post Oak Baptist Church with a reception to follow at Governor Breathitt House.
