Bluegrass Jam in Auburn this weekend

The 17th annual Logan County Bluegrass Jam officially begins Friday at 6 p.m. at the Auburn's McCutchen-Coke Park.

Groups and individuals will be on stage performing and in various areas of the park jamming. It's usually one of the most successful tourism events in Logan County each year.

Among those scheduled to perform Friday are Logan County Grass, Ridge Top Ramblers, Down the Line, Tom and Tina, and Blue Grass Express.

Charles Gisling and Clearcreek, Hub City Blue Grass, Southern Express, Ron Bilbrey Band and Logan County Grass are scheduled for Saturday's main stage, with performances beginning at noon and going late into the night.

Camping is available for a $10 fee per night, but admission is free.
