Kelly averaged a team-best 23.5 points per game, while pulling down six rebounds per contest during WKU‘s run to the semifinals. She also shot 57.7 percent from the field and 81.0 percent from the free throw line.
Kelly scored over 20 points in three games during the tournament, including 28 in the Lady Toppers' quarterfinal win at Villanova.
Kelly becomes the first Lady Topper since Gwen Doyle to earn postseason all-tournament honors. Doyle was named to the 1995 NCAA Mideast Regional all-tournament squad.
The Lady Toppers closed out the 2005-06 campaign with a 27-7 record - the most wins by a Lady Topper squad since 1994-95. They also captured their fourth straight Sun Belt Conference East Division title with a 12-2 league mark.
