Tuesday, Jason Lamar Hines, 28, of Russellville, was arrested for trafficking marijuana eight ounces to five pounds first offense, possession of handgun by a convicted felon and drug paraphernalia second offense.
The task force, along with the Russellville Police Department, executed a search warrant of Hines' residence. During the search, officers report finding a large quantity of individually packaged marijuana, handgun, drug paraphernalia and a large sum of money.
Upon investigation, which started before the search warrant, it was found that Hines had been trafficking marijuana for some time in the Russellville area, the official report says.
Hines was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
Then Wednesday, the drug task force and RPD officers executed a search warrant on 705 Nashville Street. During the search, they report finding a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in the residence.
Marshall Riley, 22, of Russellville, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia 1st offense.
Steven Moore, 24, of Russellville was arrested to be charged with trafficking in a controlled substance with a thousand yards of a school and drug paraphernalia 1st offense.
The investigation continues.
