The deGraffenried Chorale will present its holiday concert “Christmas Reflections” for the public at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on South Main Street in Russellville.

Selections of music will include familiar Christmas songs, as well as madrigal melodies, sacred anthems, period pieces and a spiritual.

Composers range from classical to the more contemporary. Soloists are Mary Beth Dowden and Freddie Borders.

The chorale will be directed by Dr. Barbara Hudson, an adjunct professor at Austin Peay State University. She has taught music for a number of years, specializing in voice, and the chorale is delighted to introduce her to the community.

Brandon Wilson, a student at APSU, will be the featured percussionist, and Martha Foster is the accompanist for the program.

Readings will be provided by members of the chorale to complete the afternoon's performance.

There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
