On Saturday, Oct. 29 the spirits of Halloween will be loose in Russellville, beginning at 10 a.m. at the annual Boo Bash. The whole family is invited to participate in activities on the Square, including the Scream Contest, Costume Contest, Cupcake Walk and more. There will be a Halloween skate on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Spinners, located in Lewisburg, from 5 until 11 p.m. There is a $10 admission, but admission includes a free gift and entry into the costume contest. For more information call Spinners at 755-4070.
On Monday, Oct. 31 the Concerned Citizens of Russellville-Logan County will sponsor a safe and fun night out for youth on Halloween from 5 until 7 p.m. at the KP Hall at Fifth and Morgan. Parents are asked to pick up youth. For more information, call 725-8721.
On Monday, Oct. 31 Living Word Church in Adairville will host its annual “Hallelujah Night,” a Halloween alternative, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. for ages two years to sixth grade. Admission is free. Call 539-5818 for more information.
On Monday, Oct. 31 Hanks Properties is sponsoring "Trick-or-Treat in the Plaza" from 5 until 7 p.m. at Sugar Maple Plaza near the stoplight on the by-pass in Auburn. Area businesses and organizations will be handing out candy to the children. Hanks Properties encourages this event for a safe Halloween for the children of the Auburn community so they don't have to be walking the streets collecting their Halloween candy. Harvest Fest will be conducted Monday from 5:30-8 p.m. on the Russellville Public Square. It's sponsored by the Russellville/Logan County Ministerial Assocaiton and supported by local churches and Christian organizations.
Prizes will be awarded as partipants “Light up the Night for Christ.”
Those who would like to can bring donations of non-perishable items for the Good Samaritan Food Bank. Sales of food items will go to Good Samaritan.

Trick-or-treating hours
All four incorporated cities will have set Trick-or-Treat hours on Monday, Halloween night. The city of Russellville's trick-or-treating hours will be from 4 until 7 p.m.; the City of Adairville's will be held the same, from 4 until 7 p.m. The city of Auburn's will be from 4 until 8 p.m. and the city of Lewisburg's will be from 5 until 8 p.m.
