On Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, DreamRiders, Inc. hosted a fundraiser by giving horse rides. The two horses used, ‘Midnight,' owned by Ronnie and Gary Robinson, and ‘Petey,' owned by Danny and Sue Sharp, brightened many kids' day.

The kids were helped up onto the horses and then led around by a DreamRider volunteer. For many of the kids, this was their first horse ride and from the look on their faces, a very memorable one.

The volunteers that helped make the event a success were: Ronnie and Gary Robinson, Danny Sharp, Pat Mallory, Tiffiny Mallory, Brittiny and Patricia Duncan and Shannon Smith.

DreamRiders is a non-profit organization that offers Therapeutic Riding Experiences to mentally and physically challenged children and adults. Donations of equipment, horses, volunteer time or money are always welcome.

For more information, those interested may call Ronnie Robinson at 726-1731 or Sue Sharp at 657-2175.
