Dear Editor, Things have to change

Once again Russellville has lost another Main Street coordinator (we seem to have one for every Flying Fish Festival).

I don't want to point fingers but if a new coordinator is hired I hope this one stays longer.

Russellville is sitting on a gold mine with its rich history. If we can get our act together, we could draw tourists from all over whether it be from exploiting Jesse James, honoring Tom Rhea, promoting our historic homes, or reenacting the Russellville Raid.

We have a lot that can be used to promote this town, but for reasons unfathomable we choose to keep it all a secret. Things need to change. The future of this town depends upon it.
