On May 28, 2005, the Southern Heights Baptist Youth Group took on the Halls Store Road to collect trash from the sides of the road. At first glance, it seemed that there wouldn't be all that much trash along the little country road. After actually walking down the road, we realized that what we thought to be true was completely wrong. We picked up 35 bags of trash.

After completing this task, it really made us grasp the problem of littering. Picking up litter can really help to improve and preserve our community's beauty and well-being. It was an eye-opening experience and would give great satisfaction to anyone willing to help out.
