Then Logan scored four straight points on Myranda Holder's serve, with Addie Wilson getting a kill and Cain making a kill on an assist from Lora Miller, a freshman who has become a starter soon after being moved up to the varsity recently.

Jane Higgins got the ball back for RHS on a block, and Anja Shelton served an ace, but Logan sophomore Christie Howard served the final four points of the game, aided by a block by Cain and a kill by Jones.

Russellville went up 4-1 in the second game with Shelton getting two aces.

Logan scored five straight points on Wilson's serve to make it 7-5.

Miller's serve gave Logan an 11-9 lead, but RHS went ahead 12-11 on Terricka Quarles' three serving points, aided by an ace.

Then Holder served eight straight points. Wilson and Cain had two kills each and Holder served an ace.
