Bro. Mitchell Rigsby, 69, of Russellville, died July 29, 2004 at the Auburn Health Care Center.

He was born in Metcalf County on Sept. 3, 1934. He was preceded in death by nine sisters and two brothers.

Bro. Rigsby was a carpenter and a Baptist minister.

Funeral services were held Aug. 1 at Little Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Randall Belcher officiating. Burial followed in the Beaumont Cemetery.

Bro. Rigsby is survived by his daughters, Darlene Teegarden of Hoopeston, Ill., Kathy McCain and Sandy Potter, both of Milford, Ill. and Lisa Miller of Decatur, Ill.; his brothers, Hughie Rigsby of Somershade and Gorden Rigsby of Piper City, Ill.; his sisters, Wanda Grider of Georgia and Edith DuFrain of Lafayette, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
