Maurine Duncan Westray, 81, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003 in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital.

She was born in Kentucky on Jan. 16, 1922, a daughter of the late Nolan and Alleyne (Milam) Duncan.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Westray was preceded in death by her husband, John Forrest Westray.

Mrs. Westray was a bookkeeper for the Lewisburg Banking Company and was a member of the Beechland Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 31 in Price Funeral Home with Rev. Thurman Harris and Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Burial followed in the Beechland Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Westray of Lewisburg; her daughter-in-law, Faye Westray of Lewisburg; her sister, Marjorie Wagoner of Lewisburg; her granddaughters, Pam Kirby of Russellville, Stephanie Crisp of Dallas, Texas, and Cindy Crisp of Costa Mesa, Calif., and her great-granddaughter, Mariah Cole of Russellville.
