Russellville High School golfer Clark Shifflett is off to a great start on the summer golf tour.

A 16-year-old, he placed second in the 16-18 division of Shawnee Country Club on May 30 in Louisville with a 72. This was on the Baker-Geary-Dunne Junior Golf Tour.

After that he won two straight tournaments in his own age group (15-16) on the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour.

Shifflett shot a 76 to win at Hopkinsville Country Club on June 4.

Then on June 16, he shot a 73 to win at Campbellsville Country Club.
