Richard S. 'Dick' Fowle, 88, of Lehigh, Fla., died March 7, 2003 at the Hospice House in Lehigh, Fla.

Mr. Fowle was born in Rockford, Mich. He was a retired leather tanner for Wolverine in Michigan, former tanner manager for Maple Park Tannery Division of Caldwell Lace and Leather Company in Auburn, and August Barth Leather Company in New Albany, Ind.

Funeral services will be held March 29 in Rockfield, Mich.

He is survived by his wife, Marg Fowle of Lehigh, Fla.; his daughter, Sharon Keller of Rockfield, Mich.; his sons, Dickie Fowle of Lehigh, Mich. and Steve Fowle of El Paso, Texas, and local connections, Jennette Thompson and Roger Gregory, both of Auburn.
