Clayton, his dad, Jason Sydnor; his coach, Lee Proctor; and his hearing impairment aide, Karen Williams, were the guests of the UK football program Wednesday.
Because he will attend school on a grant based on his hearing disability, UK does not have to use a football scholarship on him, but Proctor said new head coach Rich Brooks and Recruiting Coordiantor Joker Phillips of Franklin have made it clear they want him to walk on.
He will start school at UK this summer at the same time he comes to Lexington to practice as a Kentucky football all-star for a game against Tennessee.
"Joker told us they want Terry, that they wouldn't have invited us for an official visit if they didn't," Proctor said.
As a result, Clayton and Williams won't be making atrip to Australia this summer for a football tour.
