6th grade
Just recently, the one hundredth day of school passed by. That means only about 80 days are left of school. To celebrate, the kindergarten classes at Chandlers Elementary School decided to do certain activities to show the number 100.
The children each had to bring a collection of 100 items form home. The kindergarten students had to put their items on these chart and prove they had 100 items. These chart listed numbers 1 to 100. The teachers then put each person into groups. The groups were: people who had over 100 items, exactly 100 items, or less than 100 items. The items raged from pennies to M&M's.
1. Jumping for 100 seconds
2. Talked for 100 seconds
3. Were quiet for 100 seconds
The best part was the kids had to draw what Chandlers Principal, Mr. Barry Silvey would look like in 100 years. There were some interesting pictures.
That is how the Chandlers Elementary Kindergarten classes celebrated the 100th day of school.
