Marilyn Dillingham of Russellville, representative for the financial services firm Edward Jones, recently met with legislators in Washington, D.C. to lobby her congressional representatives for pension reform.

"This will allow Americans to plan better for their own retirement," Dillingham said. The pension reform provisions of the legislation have long been supported by Edward Jones and its investment representatives.

Dillingham was one of 57 investment representatives chosen from among the firm's more than 8700 to travel to Washington.

"For years, we have lobbied our representatives in Congress, because we believe such reforms will allow Americans to retire comfortably," she said.
