The Logan County Recycling bin in Auburn is being moved.

The receptacle for Auburn area residents to bring their recyclables will be located on the Auburn Pallet property behind the Minit Mart on College Street.

It has been located at the offices of Hanks Construction Company on East Main Street.

Owner Charles Kelly Hanks informed Judge/Executive Johnny Guion last week that he would like for it to be moved.

Guion called Wyatt Ezell, the magistrate for the area, and asked him to find another location. Ezell and Auburn Mayor Dewey Roche talked with Mark Belcher, owner of Auburn Pallet, who was agreeable to providing the space.

"Auburn Pallet is happy to help out the community whenever we can," Belcher said.

Crews from the Logan County Detention Center pick up the materials which have been brought to bins located in each city of the county and bring them to the recycling center in Russellville for processing.
