The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late MaDero V. Phelps of Chandlers and the late Burton Blackburg and Cora Lavelle Blackburn of Portland, Tenn.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Roy Vanmeter and Ruth Vanmeter of Auburn.
He is presently employed by B.C. Plumbing.
The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on June 8, 2002 at Plainview General Baptist Church in Auburn.
