Ola A. Joines Miller, 68, of Auburn, died May 22, 2002 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in Muhlenberg County on July 18, 1933, a daughter of the late Charles M. Joines and Ida Belle Mayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin L. Miller Sr.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of the North Bowling Green Church of God.

Funeral services were held May 24 at Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel, with the Rev. Stephen Oliver and Bro. Tommy Wallace officiating. Burial followed in the New Harmony Cemetery in Todd County.

Active pallbearers were Nicholas Thompson, Michael Shell, Kenny Austin, Brian Shell, Marty Miller and Richard Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Joe Gregory, Billy Wayne Goodnight and Steven McGuffey.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughters, Margaret Austin, Anna Miller and Patsy Miller, all of Auburn, and Marie Shell and Cathy McGuffey, both of Bowling Green, and Krista Glenn of Evansville, Ind. and Sandra Gregory of Edmonton; her sons, Martin Miller Jr., Carl Tony Miller, Johnny Miller and Joseph D. Miller, all of Auburn; her brothers, Junior Joines of Gas City, Ind., James Joines of Marion, Ind., Nova Joines of Evansville, Ind. and Curtis Joines of Henderson; 37 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
