Home burglary investigated

The Logan County Sheriff's Department responded to Lakewood Lane, approximately three miles north of Russellville, in reference to a burglary on April 19.

It was discovered that jewelry had been taken from the residence. An investigation led to the recovery of all items stolen, which were valued at $1,500.

On May 1, the Sheriff's Department, along with the Adairville and Russellville Police Departments, arrested Amanda D. Thompson, 21, of Adairville, for burglary in the second degree and theft by unlawful taking, over $300.

Stephen Sanford, 22, of Adairville, was arrested for receiving stolen property, over $300. Ila Faith Jones, 21, of Russellville, was arrested and charged with complicity to burglary in the second degree and receiving stolen property, over $300.

All were lodged in the Logan County Detention Center. The investigating officer was Deputy Anthony Williams, who was assisted by Detective Kevin Bibb.
