Lewisburg residents hurt in accident on Hwy. 431

On Nov. 30, Jimmy Gregory, 26; Jamie Jones, 22; Jasmine Jones, 2; and April Gregory, infant, all of Lewisburg, were injured in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 431.

Jimmy Gregory was driving a 1990 Jeep Wrangler westbound on Hwy. 431 when the vehicle collided with a tree that was lying across the roadway.

All occupants of the vehicle were trapped inside upon impact and were extracted by the Lewisburg Fire Department.

Jamie Jones was lifeflighted by AirEvac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The others involved were treated and released at Logan Memorial Hospital.

Except for the driver, all occupants of the vehicle were either wearing their seatbelts or child restraints.

Trooper Eric Evans of the Kentucky State Police was the investigating officer. Assisting were the Logan County Sheriff's Department, the Lewisburg Fire Department, and Medical Center EMS.
