Logan Chick and Glen Hatler are at it again. The two Houchens icons-- who recently retired from the popular grocery chain-- have opened yet another store, only this time it belongs to them.

The 'Harvest' is located on East Fourth Street in Russellville and is promising its customers the same "personal touch" the two are both synonymous for.

The store opened its friendly doors two weeks ago, offering fresh produce, fresh cut meat (Cut & Choice), cheese and specialty items such as O'Charley's salad dressings and homemade sandwiches served on order.

Other items one may find at the small but mighty grocery are soft drinks, snack cakes, milk, bread, sausage, bacon, and friendly conversation.

The two gentlemen say they are excited about the endeavor and are looking forward to getting back to the people they have spent years serving. "It's all about the people," said Chick. "We want our customers to know we care about their needs and we are not just trying to make money."

The two men combine 75 years of service to the public, and they are hoping to add to that number through offering the 'Harvest.'
