Walkers will begin at the Bank Street AME Church located at 564 East Fifth Street in Russellville and proceed to the Logan County Courthouse where the program will be held upstairs.
Several Russellville and Logan County students will participate in the walk. The event will include a question and answer session on how Dr. King’s philosophies impacted lives in our community.
During the program at the courthouse, the Honorable Judge Tyler Gill will be one of the special guests. Community leaders, elected officials, representatives of different organizations, schools, churches, businesses and other groups are invited to attend this annual event, which is sponsored by Community Projects, Inc.
A reception will be held following the program.
