Tom, from Woodburn, and the former Judy Smith from Franklin, were married Aug. 4, 1961, in Bowling Green by Reverend J.L. McCracken.
They are celebrating their anniversary on a ski trip to Argentina and Brazil.
They currently make their home in Russellville, Ky. returning to the area after forty years in Martinville, Va.
