The Oakville Homemakers #2 was called to order by Mary Yarbrough, acting president with thoughts of the moth, “April Showers, Bring May Flowers”, the Pledge to the Flag was lead by Citizenship chairman Mary Finch. Inspiration was read by Culture Art chairman Dorothy Fort.

The lesson was, Improving your Outdoor Space. There were five members who answered roll by naming a helpful landscape tip.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer report was given and accepted and there was no unfinished business.

New business included a reminder of the Southern Women Show in Nashville on April 14th and the K.E.H.A. state meeting in Bowling Green, Ky. May 9-12.

Hostess revered a very tasteful meal, enjoyed by all. Also learned, was how to do a quilt square, which was very interesting.

The meeting was adjourned until the next meeting.
