“Bark at the Park” is a fun event for dog lovers and their pets that is sure to be a wonderful experience. The event will not only provide a good time for you and your pet, but also funding for the Logan County Humane Society by your attendance.
The society will receive $5 of the $10 ticket cost to go towards helping save the lives of Logan County’s unwanted animal population.
Owners can bring their dogs, big, medium or large to this event. You and your furry buddy can watch a baseball game together between the Hot Rods and the Dayton Dragons. There will also be a dog agility course with Master Boarding Kennels, where your dog can have fun. There will be tons of vendors as well.
If you are interested in attending the game with your pet, you can purchase tickets for $10 (your dog gets in free), at the Logan County Humane Society, 1230 Morgantown Road, Russellville or call 726-2186. You can also order your tickets online by emailing lcas2@bellsouth.net.
This is a good way to help save a life of an animal and have fun while doing it,” said Humane Society Director Kathy Maddox.
“We struggle to raise funds throughout the year to help save the hundreds of unwanted animals in Logan County and rely on the kind hearts of citizens to help us accomplish this goal. We want to find homes for them and it takes money to be able feed and house them until we can. Thank you for your support,” Maddox added.
