Lyndell Ray Christian, 82, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Muhlenberg County Nov. 30, 1928, a son of the late Fred Christian and the late Bessie Christian.

Mr. Christian was a retired farmer, owning his own farm. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Gideons International.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with reverend Jimmy Kenner and Reverend Carmel Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Christian of Lewisburg; his daughter, Martha Johnson and husband Carlis of Bowling Green; his son, Michael Christian and wife Barbara of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Shannon Collins of Bowling Green, Amanda Stokes and Natalie Jessup both of Lewisburg, Kenny Johnson of Fairview, Tenn. and Ricky Johnson of Woodburn, and 11 great-grandchildren.
