Several Logan County FFA members attended the Kentucky State Fair in August and took part in various events. The Livestock Judging Team consisted of Tyler Toon, Dustin Lee, Cole Porter and Patrick Penrod. The team placed 14th out of 54 teams competing. The Agronomy Team consisted of Holden Hudnall, Justin Hopkins, Jacob Hopkins and Keith Richey and placed sixth of 17 teams. Heidi Nations, Tasha Haley, Nick Womack and Chelsey Hones were members of the Nursery Team which placed 16th out of 21 teams. Sarah Beth Hall, Kallie Griffin, Autumn Claypool and Audrey Hankins were on the Floriculture Team and they placed 29th out of 31 teams.
