He was born in Christian County Nov. 20, 1944, a son of the late Zelma Brown and Mary Frances Wells Lipscomb.
Mr. Lipscomb was a graduate of Olmstead High School, was a farmer and a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 6 at Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with reverend Scott Marshall and Brother Robert Ambuske officiating. Burial followed in the Red Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ben Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Charlie Noe, Ronald Dotson, Jamie Dezarn, George Fugate, Bradley Piper and Jay Slayton.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Morgan, Edward McIntosh, Tommy Brown, Bobby Blackford and Birdie Marable.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Lipscomb; his sons, Robbie Lee Lipscomb and wife April of Bowling Green and Sgt. Kevin David Brooks and wife Michelle of Cecilia; his grandchildren, Jacob Lipscomb and Jermiah and Kaden Brooks; his step-mother, Mary Lipscomb of Springfield, Tenn., and his cousins, Sarah Anthony of Olmstead and Kelvin and Roxie Fuqua of Coopertown, Tenn.
