If you come in to donate blood on Feb. 7 from 12-6 p.m. at the National Guard Armory you will be entered to win an all expense paid trip for two to Las Vegas featuring tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis and accommodations at ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter.
Plus a chance at a VIP expense paid trip for two to Memphis featuring VIP Graceland access and accommodations at the Peabody Hotel.
All presenting donors will receive a free Rock & Roll T-shirt.
• The American Red Cross local blood drives are in need of help providing food for the drives.
The local drives feel that it is very important to reward those persons who are willing to donate blood to save lives by providing food for them after they donate. It is becoming more difficult to provide this food due to economic problems. If your church or civic organization would be willing to help by providing food or monetary donations for the blood drives, please contact Louise Parker at 7241 to make arrangements to get your food to the blood drive or make a donation for food. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
