Proctor took over the reigns at LCHS in 2000 and helped guide Logan County for over a decade.
He had his biggest success just last season, taking the Cougars to the second round of the Class 4A playoffs before losing narrowly in the second round to Allen County-Scottsville.
The Cougars struggled this season, going just 1-9 and ending the year on a six-game losing streak.
