Logan jobless rate down over past year
Unemployment in Logan County dropped a full percentage point over the past year, according the latest statistics released last week from the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet. The city of Russellville received a fire prevention grant in the amount of $1,975 from FM Global recently. Michael Spaziani, manager of Fire Service Programs said the City of Russellville’s application for an FM Global fire prevention grant stood out among the hundreds they had received.
