Logan County Library to hold ‘Book It 4 Your Library’ 4 mile walk/run
The Logan County Public Library’s inaugural “Book It 4 Your Library” 4 mile walk/run will take place Saturday, April 20, 2013, starting at the library. Packet pickup and registration will begin at 6:45-7:45 a.m. The 4 mile race will start at 8 a.m. and the 2.5 mile walk will begin at 8:01 a.m. The distance of the walk is closely estimated at 2.5 miles, but may be slightly different. The Russellville Lions Club will be hosting a free fire safety and prevention seminar next week at the old Logan County Courthouse. The Logan County Office of Protection and Permanency helped coordinate the annual walk to commemorate national Child Abuse Awareness Month on Wednesday.
