Hail falls in Logan Sunday
A severe storm swept through Logan County Sunday afternoon bringing with it gusting winds, rain and large amounts of hail in certain areas of the county. The hail differed in size with some being as large as marbles and others the size of peas. In some areas it covered the roads and rooftops like a heavy snowfall. Active Day of Russeville hosted it’s first annual St. Patrick’s Day Dance March 15. The event was held for those who have special needs offering an opportunity for Logan Countians to get out and have some fun. Over $11,000 worth of marijuana was kept off the streets of Logan County thanks to a recent tip received by the Auburn Police Department. According to Auburn Police, the department acted on information they had received which lead them to serve a search warrant on a residence located at 162 Rooster Lane in Auburn.
