Judge Executive Logan Chick and others met recently to discuss land-use management for the county. Chick told members of fiscal court Tuesday that the meeting went well, however, more needed to be learned before anything official could be presented. He suggested scheduling another meeting soon. Jere Hopson, director of the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force (SCKDTF), asked magistrates Tuesday if they would help pay for an expense that was incurred the first of the year on the building which houses the task force. The Adairville city council held a special called meeting on Friday to open bids for the construction of an addition to the city fire hall and to discuss buying a new work truck for the city water employees.
