Derr indicted on attempted murder charge for shooting at wife
Gerald L. Derr, 78, of Lewisburg, was recently indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury on an attempted murder charge for allegedly trying to shoot his wife Lisa Derr with a .40 caliber handgun with the intent to kill her. Derr was charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of disorderly conduct second degree, one count of tampering with physical evidence and one count of resiting arrest. Dog owners charged with 26 counts each of Cruelty to Animals Second Degree
As of Thursday, charges were filed against two owners of 26 dogs rescued at an Olmstead home last week. The dogs, who were taken into custody by the Logan County Humane Society, with the help of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and Animal Control, were found to be severely malnourished and in need of medical treatment.
