The Lady Cougars had two outs to begin the third inning, but Abbot would step back up to the plate and hit another double. Sierra Morrow would single and would drive in Abbot on an error to bring the score to 5-2.

The Lady Rebels had a runner on base and were ready to score another run, but the pitcher Shelby Milam would strike them out, ending the third inning.

In the top of the fourth, the Lady Cougars were not able to get on base and suffered three quick outs in a row. The bottom of the fourth with result in the Lady Rebels added three more runs to the score with some errors made by the Lady Cougars.

The Lady Cougars were not able to make it on base in the top of the fifth, and the Lady Rebels would get some big hits and score on some errors, resulting in a 12-2 loss for the Lady Cougars.
