The Logan County Lady Cougars and the Russellville Lady Panthers faced each other during the second Clash of the Cats game of the season. The Lady Cougars would take another win, defeating the Lady Panthers 14-1.

The Lady Cougars game out strong to gain the lead early. The Lady Cougars got good hits and were able to get seven girls on home plate before the Lady Panthers could get three outs.

The Lady Panthers were able to score in the first inning with an RBI by Laura Marksberry, bringing in Cierra Collins. The second inning, The Lady Panthers were able to get three quick outs before the Lady Cougars could score again, but they were not as lucky at the plate, resulting with the same score of 7-1 going into the third.

The Lady Cougars would bring in three more runs in the third inning, increasing their lead to 10-1. The Lady Panthers were not able to stop them from scoring four more runs in the fourth and fifth innings, resulting in a five inning win for the Lady Cougars.

The Lady Panthers will be playing at Hart County tonight and the Lady Cougars will play at home against Ohio County.
