Over $11,000 worth of marijuana was kept off the streets of Logan County thanks to a recent tip received by the Auburn Police Department.

According to Auburn Police, the department acted on information they had received which lead them to serve a search warrant on a residence located at 162 Rooster Lane in Auburn. The search led to the seizure of a substantial amount of suspected marijuana with a street value of over $11,000. Also seized was a large amount of cash.

The suspects who resided at the residence were 59-year-old Larry Anderson and 37-year-old Lorrie Remour Flannery. Both were arrested and charged with felony trafficking in marijuana over 8 ounces. A juvenile from the residence was taken into protective custody as well. The Auburn Police Department was assisted by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.

In a separate and earlier incident, the Auburn Police Department assisted sheriff’s deputy Clint Wright and his canine partner Astor. They acted on a tip that lead them to 31-year-old Brooks Camp and 28-year-old Shannon McCall, who had been allegedly engaging in illegal drug activity in the parking lot of the Auburn Carpet Center on Main Street in Auburn. After an investigation, police arrested both Camp and McCall for felony possession of a controlled substance- 1st degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. Several items were seized including three syringes filled with alleged Oxycontin in liquefied form.
