The Logan County Cougar basketball team traveled to Barren County to face the Trojans on Tuesday night. The Trojans were able to gain a quick lead over the Cougars and take the win of 76-61.

The first quarter started off well for the Cougars, who found themselves only down six points after the first quarter of the game. The Trojans were able to make a big jump in the second quarter, adding 21 points to the scoreboard leaving the Cougars behind 13 points going into the second quarter.

The Cougars came back from halftime and make good plays, but the Trojans were able to shut them down and add another 20 points. The Trojans would lead 61-41 going into the last quarter of the game.

The Cougars were able to make strong offensive plays in the fourth quarter to gain 20 points, but it was not enough to bring them close to the Trojans, ending the game in a loss of 61-76.

Torin Graham led the Cougars with 20 points in the game. Ben Wright ended the night with nine points for the Cougars. Landon Stratton and Ryan Basham both contributed eight points to the team.

The Cougars will head to Fort Campbell tonight to face the Falcons at 7:30.
