The Logan County Cougars traveled to Bowling Green to face the Purples on Friday night. The Cougars lost the game 0-62 which brings their season record to 1-5.
The Cougars started with a rough start after the Purples scored 28 points in the first quarter. The Cougars defense couldn’t stop the Purples and the Purples had scored 49 points at the half.
Even with the huge lead, the Purples didn’t stop there. They scored two touchdowns in the second half to bring the final score to 62-0.
The Logan County Cougars ended the night with 66 rushing yards. Brenann Rostampour lead the Cougars with 41 yards rushing. Rone followed with 19 yards rushing.
The Cougars will travel to Barren County to face the Trojans on Oct. 12.
