On April 23, 2013, more than four hundred leaders of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association attended the 45th Annual State Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s theme was “Making Your Membership Count.” President Dr. Jim Frank presided over the meeting. Jim Miller brought his experience of working with both federal and state public pension issues with his presentation: “National Perspective; Pensions & Healthcare.”
During the afternoon the Delegate Assembly was updated on membership, health & insurance, and legislative issues. The keynote speaker at the afternoon session was Gary Griesser, motivational speaker and storyteller, who shared his “Proud To Be An American” presentation.
Clarence Gamble proudly accepted the Silver Certificate on behalf of the association.
