The Stevenson Elementary first grade students took a field trip on Tuesday to the Logan County FFA greenhouse.

The students were taught about the different parts of plants, took a tour of the greenhouse and were shown how to plant seeds in a tray of soil.

After the tour, all the students were given a flower that they got to transplant into a cup of dirt and take home.

The first graders also went to the Baker Natural Area and took a nature hike and then had a picnic lunch at the Russellville Park before getting a chance to play on the playground there.
