The Russellville Lady Panthers welcomed the Allen County-Scottsville Lady Patriots to the court on Tuesday. The Lady Panthers fell behind early in the game to the Lady Patriots and were not able to make a comeback and ended the game with a loss of 79-60.

The Lady Panther defense could not stop the Lady Patriots from outscoring them 14 points in the first quarter. The Lady Panthers stepped it up in the second quarter but still could not shorten the gap and ended the half 25-46.

The Lady Panthers came back to the court and fought hard to outscore the Lady Patriots in the second half, but could not come close to close the gap and ended the game losing by 19 points.

Amber Sydnor led the Lady Panthers with 29 points with five three-point shots. Khalia Hampton ended the game with 17 points.

The Lady Panthers will head to Springfield, Tenn., tomorrow and will compete in the Trigg County Tournament next Thursday.
