William Haugh, Chief Executive Officer at Logan Memorial Hospital received the American College of Healthcare Executives Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recently at the Kentucky Hospital Association Annual Meeting.

The award was bestowed on Haugh by Brian C. Doheny, ACHE’s Regent for Kentucky Chapter. The Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recognizes ACHE members who have made significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of ACHE’s goals.

Members are evaluated on leadership ability; innovative and creative management; executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community; participation in local, state or provincial hospital and health association activities; participation in civic/community activities and projects; participation in ACHE activities; and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives.

Haugh has served as CEO at Logan Memorial since 2009. Prior to this, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville located in Virginia.

Haugh is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence. He is also a member of strategic planning committee with the Kentucky Hospital Association.

Haugh received his bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and his master’s degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
